Demo: ↑/↓ pick a note, hold Space to play it. Shift+Space plays it an octave low.

The bar shows how loud the mic hears you. The games only listen when the bar passes the red mark. Other people playing nearby? Slide toward Less. Game not hearing you? Slide toward More. This setting is shared by every game.
Playing in a loud band room? A room check (about 8 seconds) helps the games hear YOUR instrument. Tip: keep the device close to your instrument.
